Dynamic Feed

This type of linking shows top sites within a certain criteria. It comes in two parts and is customizable.

The list is called by a javascript that has the following parameters.

http://scifimatter.com/exporter.php?type[1]=links - The code Url If used without the input from below it will serve the 'default list'.
URL parameters avaible are:

• field[1]=hits - which will show the most popluar sites.
• field[1]=rating - Sort the links by their rating.
• field[1]=votes - Sort the links by the number of votes recieved.
• field[1]=hitsin - Sorts by the number of hits Jack has recieved from the sites.
• field[1]=time - Shows the newest listings.
• 'order[1]=ascending' - Starting low and going high.
• 'order[1]=decending' - Starting high and going low. Will place sites with the most hits on top.
• ' ' - not placing anything will revert to the default 'hits'
• number[1]=5 - The number of listings you want to show. Default is '5'

If using a listing linking method like vote for us or the rating form, it would be a good idea to show the appropriate list underneath it.

Also included with the insert code are some css settings that are used in the list. Since the end user will not be able to alter the presentation of the Serving javascript itself css 'class' tags are added to the html served, which can be altered to fit your site or removed entirely to allow your sites default settings to work.

You can do whatever with these codes to make them look decent on your site.
